Chester County's Premier Academic Preschool:

Founded in 1976, we have a rich tradition and an excellent reputation throughout the community.

The School is incorporated as an independent not-for-profit (501-C-3) educational organization. Over the years we've become recognized as the area's premier non-denominational academic nine month preschool.

We currently offer 5 classes ranging from Playgroup to Five Year Olds in 2, 3, 4 and 5 day sessions.

Our staff of PA Department of Education certified teachers, experienced assistants, and highly qualified administration is dedicated to principles of early childhood education that provide a positive and nurturing transition from home to the beginning of the school experience.

Dedicated parents commit countless hours to classroom participation, and assist the Board of Directors on various committees in support of the School's operations.

Brandywine School's graduates consistently transition smoothly into the area's public and private elementary schools.

Our Mission:

Brandywine School's commitment to early education begins and ends with a simple goal - to fill each child's first school experience with excitement and an anticipation of every new day.

Our curriculum in each grade level is carefully planned to stimulate each child's spiritual, social, physical, intellectual and moral growth through enjoyable and challenging interaction with adults and other children.

We strive to create a comfortable and secure environment governed by non-denominational principles and resulting in a genuine enthusiasm for learning within each child, regardless of religion, race, creed, ethnic, or national origin.

Our Facilities:

In September of 2003, the school moved to the Thorndale Methodist Church in Caln Township. The church features beautiful open spaces - both indoors and outside - new dedicated classrooms, and the property borders the township park on Municipal Drive.

Our classrooms feature updated child-safe furnishings and age appropriate activity resources. The church's spacious Fellowship Hall allows ample room for large motor development and special activities.

We are very proud of our child safe "Little Tykes" equipment within our fenced outdoor playground. Brandywine School parents donated much of the hard labor and finances to make it happen!
